What Do We Do?
Serenity Living Transitional Home (SLTH) is a 501c3 non-profit organization located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania that offers young women between the ages of 18 and 23 that are aging out of foster care or suffering from homelessness with a safe place to live and learn. Qualifying young women suffering from homelessness are offered housing for up to two years at our transitional home. SLTH also provides life stabilization classes and life skills training to young women and young men between the ages of 16 and 23 residing in poverty-stricken communities.
Qualifying youth and young adults must be at risk for homelessness or out-of-home placement. Youth experiencing truancy, or involved in a DHS child-serving system, will also be considered.
To educate, equip, and empower at-risk youth and young adults to overcome life’s obstacles to success.
We believe all women can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
